To play the story mode in VR you need a smartphone with gyroscope and a controller with at least 4 buttons, you can also play the story mode the traditional way with controller or touch controls.

The Android VR version appears as a flat screen in my Quest headset. I tried the non VR version and that is the same (in case they were labelled incorrectly).
In the PC VR one, the player appears really high up. Even recentering the view makes no difference. I had to set the floor level high in order to do anything. No hands appear when playing the game so I cannot pick up the keys (which I can in the android flat screen version). Therefore I cannot get anywhere.
Do I need an X-box controller or are the Quest controllers fine for the VR version?
Hello, the game was developed to be played on smartphones, so it is played with controller or touch screen, you can also play with keyboard and mouse on PC.
Subsequently I made the PC versions, both the VR version and the screen version can be played with controller or mouse and keyboard.
The game only shows the hands when they have a weapon equipped.
Tested with Oculus Rift S without any problem.
